It all started when a cuer agreed to come to our area to give lessons! He said "I'll teach a class (traveling 80 miles one way) but you will need to find a cuer for your group." Well, the two people who said they would cue for us decided that round dance cueing wasn't their "bag" so there we were with no one to cue for us. The group asked Jerral to think about it but he said "NOT ME - ASK Marilyn" I decided to give it a try-I LOVE IT. Jerral is known as "Wag's Packer". He drives us to the dance, unpacks and sets up the equipment, hands me my mike then packs it all up after the dance for the drive home. We live in south central Texas and cue mostly for clubs in the Houston area. We teach basic square dance level lessons on Sunday afternoons and Monday nights. Jerral is a technician for a Chevrolet dealership and I just recently retired from teaching first graders for 28 years. We both love to square and round dance.
